Within Our Neighborhood

Pictured above is Darnall's Chance House Museum, one of the historical sites just steps from our neighboorhood.  

The Town of Upper Marlboro includes a downtown area along Main Street lined with a variety of local business as well as the Prince George’s County Courthouse and the County Administration Building. The central Board of Education offices for the Prince George’s County Public School system are a short walk from Main Street.
 
Pictured above is the Schoolhouse Pond that includes a fishing pier, photo blind, ¾-mile boardwalk, picnic areas, and nature trails.

Town Meetings of the Board of Town Commissioners are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall. Regular Town Meetings are open to the public and time is provided on the agenda for public comment. All meetings listed below are held at Town Hall—14211 School Lane, Upper Marlboro. MD 20772 (unless otherwise indicated).

 

Additional businesses and government offices are located in the Old Mill complex a short distance from downtown.
